Riegel is an adventurous and historical journey aboard Pan American World Airways. I purchased the book and the audiobook. I loved hearing Riegel’s voice recount her glamorous life as a Pan Am Stewardess. Her lively stories kept me laughing, particularly Chapter Thirteen, “Lessons in Love.”
Riegel’s book takes readers “ up in the air” in 1961, during the Jet age and golden era of aviation, and adds a layer of history and authenticity to her story. I felt sad when the flight landed.
